PUTS organized an event on Saturday, June 9, 2018, for an evening gathering to commemorate the great poet Rabindranath Tagore and his monumental contribution to the literary world, in the wake of his 157th birth anniversary.
Bangladesh Students Association performed 3 Tagore songs: Mor Bhabonare, Dibosho Rojoni and Aji Bangladesher Hridoy Hote in that event. Performers: Sajid (keys), Tridib (Cajon and Jingle), Shoumya (guitar), Baishakhi (dancer) and our singers Medha, Ajanta and Shuvro. The evening was also glorified by the presence of our Bangladeshi well-respected Rabindra Sangeet singer, Roquaiya Hasina Neely (as seen on the 2nd picture), who performed 3 songs as well before BDSA's performance.
The evening commenced with a cultural program at Matthews Hall, Room 220, Purdue University at 5pm followed by dinner.
